The vintage SNL episodes were far superior to anything done today (except maybe Tina Fay doing what's-her-name). Eddie Murphy doing Gumby was priceless ("That Wilma Flintstone is a real slut"); Dan Ackroyd and Jane Curtain ("Jane you ignorant slut"); and John Belushi doing any number of skits, including the Samuri.
