Hey...does anyone out there setup a Christmas Village for the season?

I'm trying to get some ideas for creativity to help "boost" our village.

If you have some photos, I'd love to see them.

Ages......very near where you live is a wonderful display set up every Christmas season. Do you know where the Portuguese Cultural Centre is on Notre Dame? I must have stood there for half an hour last year looking at the beautiful village, its all under a glass case, working lights, moving parts, the works. If I knew how to post pics here I would but seeing as its near you go check it out!

I'll have to take a look at that eastsider...though I'm more curious what people do with limited space.

My village area is less than 1/2 the size of the Portuguese Centre...though I probably have about 100+ pieces to put out.

One of the images from that site I posted, someone puts their village on their grand piano...I thought that was interesting...though would be concerned of doing that myself.

The thing about The Children's Museum is that you have to pay to get in to see the village, whereas with Eatons, everyone had access to it without paying an entrance fee. I do miss that village; thinking about walking around in it brings back so many childhood memories.

Well, I'm thinking that if it's in the Children's Museum, there would be a cover charge to get in to see it. I doubt they would let people in just to see the Christmas Village exhibit.
