say... I dont get it... image 015 of the major crimes. dude is talking on a cell phone. why not simply find the nearest cell phone tower and determine who was being called/doing the calling at the time? Sure there might be 1000 people doing it... But its not like it would be impossible to track it down.

Anyone else notice how clear and sharp the taxi images are compared to the others? Even though in black & white you should easily be able to ID those folks! And # 390 bears a strong resemblance to Chief Keith McCaskill(sic) no less!

CCTV technology is improving every day. Cameras and IR lighting are improving and costs are coming down. Perhaps the single biggest factor is the elimination of VCR. DVR quality images don't deteriorate like VCR images every time you record "over" them.

On July 29 2009, a taxi picked up 2 females at Pembina Hwy and Bishop Grandin. They were dropped off in Waverley Heights. A short time later, the driver realized his laptop and bag were missing from the rear seat.

Now this is a crime that can be blamed on stupidity. How dumb do you have to be to leave a laptop in the backseat of a cab, where the fare-paying customers seat? What the hell was the cabbie thinking?
