Guns'n'Roses to play MTS Centre? Guns

There are some persuasive indications that Guns N' Roses will be making a concert announcement on Monday. The clues come from a tease being run by a Canadian concert promoter which appears on their site and also in a banner ad running on several Canadian web sites according to leading GNR fan site Here Today... Gone To Hell.


While the HT...GTH report is pretty sparse (they are simply running a screen capture of the banner), Blabbermouth has dug up more details. Here is part of their reports: Canadian concert promoters Gillett Entertainment Group (Groupe Spectacles Gillett) have launched a countdown on their web site to a "major announcement" that will be made on Monday, October 19 at 7:00 a.m. EST.

Are you going Triniman? I'm not, never was a fan of GnR. I did like Appetite for Destruction back in the day, but my taste has changed dramatically since I was a teen.

No, I will skip it. I used to really like Appetite... but was disappointed with their output since then. I did buy Chinese Democracy but it sounds like a few different bands rather than one. I interviewed Slash about 20-something years ago. He was quite the smartass! The first time I saw Guns'n'Roses, they opened for The Cult at the old arena and totally blew the Cult away. I might have gone if they had Slash and some of the other long time members in the band.

A friend in the US, who hosted a radio show, sent me a tape with Appetite... on one side and the debut from Faster Pussycat on the other. Two glam metal bands. One goes onto huge sucess while the other never made the big time. So, I knew about them before they played Winnipeg.

I already bought tickets for my friend Sam, I got all of his info and set up an account with ticketbastard and I went online at 10:00 am and got him 2 tickets in lower bowl. He's happy.
