QUICK...where's the demand for extradition on this one?

I just read a disturbing article today (I think it was in yesterday's Sun) about a Winnipeg guy, who went to Arizona, in the hopes of crossing into Mexico to have a week-long sex extravaganza with 12-14yr. old boys.

Turns out, he was communicating with an undercover agent, and was promptly arrested when he arrived in Arizona. He's plead guilty and awaits sentencing (30 years in prison and/or $250k in fines).

But where's the outcry for his return to Canada? Where's the crying that he's Canadian and we have to support him? Where's the demand to sentence him on THIS side of the border?

Not sure how to do the "tongue-in-cheek" font...but to me...it just goes to emphasize...you do a crime in another country...serve the time in THAT country.

On a note of irony...he made the communications from his computer here in Winnipeg...so conceivably he could be charged here too!!! .

The Liberals and Nippers probably have not heard of the case yet.

Wait until convicted and his sure to follow demand to serve his sentence near Winnipeg.

I can't remember what happened last week never mind last year...

you wont hear anything about this from the opposition. No body wants to be known as the guy who goes light on child abuse/exploitation.

I don't remember hearing about this last year, and the story yesterday was buried 10 or so pages in.

Where the hell is Paul Martin when you need him?

He does'nt defend Child pervs , this is much different then the women who was down there besides Harper doe's not have a heart .

But he's got a brain...can't say the same for some who believe everything that comes out of the mouths of crooks.

This guy also was caught red handed where the women was assumed to be part of the case the evidence was weak against her .

Make whatever excuses you want, they were subject to the laws of the land. This has nothing to do with Harper, just as it has nothing to do with Paul Martin,but Martin tried to score political points by interferring on the Brenda Martin case.

And no politician has ever done that before
