From today's Sun.
Captain Iggy

With the global economic storm winding down, it looks like Michael Ignatieff and the two stooges are coming back on deck, seeing sunshine on the horizon and are ready to take the wheel. I've got to give Iggy credit. No point in piloting the ship during the storm. It is so much easier to sit back and criticize the captain's every move, and lay out some "benchmarks" for him to follow while dodging the waves. "Hey captain, you're doing a lousy job. And if anyone gets seasick or wet during the storm, we're taking over."

And so, with bluer skies ahead, the Liberals are ready to force another election while the storm is still on the minds of the passengers -- the voters. Problem is, we've seen the Liberals at the helm in calm weather and the ship just kept going in circles, leaking fuel while the captain and his friends sat at the captain's table dining liberally on pork.

Iggy wants the wheel. Layton and Duceppe want to dine at the captain's table and we, once again, are just along for the ride.

Reading it kind of made me seasick, but I'm already sick to my stomach as soon as I think about Iggie and the Liberals.

Umm, should we expect anything different? Seems like politics as usual.
