GWAR bringing blood and guts to the Garrick



The Garrick Centre is going to get messy Dec. 5.
Heavy metal's scumdogs of the universe, GWAR, are bringing their 25th-anniversary show to town with Job for a Cowboy and the Red Chord, according to the band's official website. Ticket information wasn't released.
The band -- Oderous Urungus, Flattus Maximusm, Balsac the Jaws of Death, Beefcake the Mighty and Jizmak Da Gusha -- is touring in support of its new album, Lust in Space. GWAR is known for performing in foam latex monster costumes and dousing the audience with blood and guts (water and food colouring).

I'm skipping. Not into GWAR. I've heard Job For A Cowboy and they are too heavy for my tastes.

Nope, they've never interseted me. I do like and have seen Alice Cooper before, thrice, I think. I'd see him again.

I may or may not go. "This Toilet Earth" still ranks as one of my favourite albums of all time, largely on the strengths of "Saddam A Go Go", "Eat Steel", and "Jack the World".

I've seen Cooper, he was okay. I'm not a huge fan of Gwar but would like to see the show. I've heard lots about them live and would like to see it for myself.
