Really gorgon? you really needed to show off to everyone that you have been High above portage and Main in the Power Corp offices?

shame on you gorgon. I challenge YOU to write one column where you are not bragging about someone famous or important that you rubbed elbows with or a famous "powerful" place in Winnipeg you have been.

This story for instance, you could have easily just said "in 2005 Burns reported that he had made only one demand in return for his gift. It had to be the best skateboarding park in Canada, and good enough to be an international destination."

sounds more like he's bragging he does drugs in the Power Corp offices.

I've been in the Premier's office at the Leg...doesn't make me Premier...heck...doesn't even make me Canadian.

I've also been to the Oval Office at the White House...doesn't make me President

Neither, he's an a$$hole, I'm just not sure where that figures in to why the Free Press lets him write his stupid column.

Meh...both are just a take-off of the old Society Column that papers ran before TV took over. It ain't going away.
