1) Lied to the U.N. and to his Congress to get to war , invasion of Iraq!

2) Spied on U.S. citizens, unlawfully and lied about what was done!

3) vetoed a health care bill aimed at the young, US citizens because the US couldn't afford the 25 or 35 billion, and yet continues to spend 10 billion dollars per month, and killing over 4000 U.S. and an estimated 100,000 to 500,000 Iraqui's!

Yes he has shown what is wrong with their system the presidency can be bought, if Mommy and Daddy have enough to cover the bill . If Irag can't look after its self then let them blow each other up or kill each other off , and we can enjoy the 100 billon surplus they enjoy.

Isn't Obama buying the Presidency too? He's outspending McCain 3 or 4 to 1 I believe.

Spending is what Democrats (and Liberals) do best; it's not their money.

I don't think Bush destroyed America.

I will grant him the fact that his first election, he ran and whether elected by hanging chads or not...he won.

The country was fed up with the taxing Clinton kept imposing. They were tired of the country being "given away" to the United Nations. There was speculation that Clinton was destroying the economy because he was destroying businesses. If people were really that pleased with Clinton's era, then there would not have been a race...Gore would have walked into the office of President without even a challenge.

It also has to be said that in that first year after being elected...the terrorists kicked things up with 9/11. And hindsight is 20/20...but what would you have done as President? It was obvious after those attacks that the US was going to war...the only question was with who? and for how long? A "war on terror" will NEVER end...no matter what you do. So Bush's only recourse was to target the most visible "face of terror". And when they couldn't find binLaden...they went after the next one...so they could at least create a "closure".

I don't condone war...and much of what Bush has done is wrong IMO. Things like the "Homeland Security" crap, and all the new airline regulations. But he ran for office originally believing he could fix what Clinton and the Democrats screwed up. He went in the office because America did not WANT another 4-8 years of Clintonesque politics. And then he got slammed with a war nobody could've really predicted.

If America really thinks republicans are bad for the country...then there would not be a race THIS election either. In THIS election, they are not voting for Bush-like politics...they are voting for Republicans and Democrats...and with the race as close as it seems so far...they still believe in the Republican platform, despite Bush. Most Americans know that America needs change...but they don't necessarily believe that taxing everyone even more is the answer to getting it.

Speaking of the UN....

It seems that an informal survey suggests that most workers and delegates want Obama to win. He "would usher in a new agenda of multilateralism". That imho, is UN double-speak for "bend over and grab your ankles".

The Democrats are big on "World Union".

There was talk during Gore's election, that he wanted to "give" the US Military to the UN. That it would no longer serve only the US.

I don't believe the US had to go to war with anybody. W went to war with Iraq from another agenda. The terrorism issue should have been handled by the CIA and assassination squads.

No...it was too public to be handled by the CIA etc. It HAD to be big, and it HAD to be public.

As far as Iraq goes...I'd disagree. Yes, there was the previous agenda involved...but who else could've been chosen? and linked to terrorism so easily? Who else could have been plausible to go after? that would have been "sellable" to not only the American public, but most of the world?

Had they found binLaden, and been able to hold him up as an "example", then there would most likely not have been an invasion of Iraq...but as far as the American public is concerned...they wanted someone's "head on a platter".

Should'a focused on Afghanistan... Iraq was a red herring. Still is. They just have no easy way to exit without losing face. As for bin ladin a $10 or $100 million reward would'a flushed him out and would have saved TRILLIONS!

Bush really is brilliant!
19 Saudi Arabians took 4 planes and attacked America, so he invaded Iraq!
It all makes sense when you look at that, doesn't it?
Bush obviously looked at how successful the USA was in Vietnam, with 58,000 dead Americans, approximately 2,000,000 dead Vietnamese, and figured out that He could do better!
The stupidity of his war mongering attitude, and the stupidity of the American attitude, which allowed him to get re-elected is mind bogling! The American psyche is that being at war is a good thing.
Here in Canada we are so lucky to have had Chretian as P.M. who kept us out of the war because the U.N. wouldn't sanction it!
Bush lied to go to war, got the CIA to condone false information!
There was a very interesting documentary on yesterday regarding Bush and his V.P. and Wolfowitz who wanted war and Colin Powell and one other who did not.
The CIA reports of weapons of mass destruction, were reports from a person who was in custody in Germany who was a known lyar! Colin Powell spent v4 days at the CIA going over the reports and confirming the reports. Powell was told (lied to) that there were 4 independant reports of weapons of mass destruction.
Powell after realizing he was lied to, resigned from Bush's clan.

Say.. Didn't Roosevelt do similar shenanigans to help out England during WW2. A lot of what he did could have landed him in prison. I watched a documentary on it a month ago.

Don't count them out yet. There's always Jeb, ready for action. I wonder who they'll attack when he becomes president? St.Pierre and Miquelon?

They will use those invasion plans they had made up in 1944 to free Canada from the oppressive Ontario/Quebec dictatorship.

In other words they will invade Canada.
