You're in Alberta...Oil Country...so it should be lower. It was 105 at the tempo by my place.

Apparently the prices are even lower in Southern Ontario where there are more refineries.

I spent 107.9 today at the stupid store.

I hope it doesn't go lower! I do not want my old 1998 car to get ruined with inferior , cheap gasoline !!

Holy Moley, never thought I'd see gas prices under a dollar ever again.....thats our posted price at a few Transcona stations, one other gas bar still at a 1.08. Are you folks in other neighborhoods getting this good price too? Lately gas prices have been all over the map depending where you're at, at least thats what I'm seeing.

At todays price per barrel we should be at 85 to 89 a liter but we have to keep Alberta rolling cause it is losing at these prices.

A friend of mine lives in Ottawa and just told me it's .84 cents a litre where he is. What a bunch of BS.

This is a routine trick by the oil companies. The MP's cruise by the Ottawa gas stations and notice how cheap the gas is and just can't figure out what the peasants are complaining about.

This is a industry that needs to be watched more closely , the oil we burn comes from our country and not the US so why doe's it jump when the hurricanes affect it . Cause we are stupid enough to let them tell us how we can sell our oil . Pretty soon it will be our grain .

They already have control of Canadian grain, and world corn, and world currencies, and everything else...

Who already has control of Canadian grain? And we just found out how real little control the US has over their currency eh? Nah, they are the elephant in the room but other countries are in greater control and growing control... Russia, China, India, Europe. Even Canada has greater control then you might think.

I can say that the speculators are still cashing in and are still causing havoc. It's too bad the world's strongest leaders are letting them do it...

No, everyone knows how much they make. Others...
These other guys are gonna sink various currencies, and when they sink the US dollar, they're gonna buy all the gold they can. Then it will be too late to cry recession, cause we'll be in a depression.

The Canadian Press
TORONTO — Gasoline prices that hovered in the $1.40 a litre range during the summer are now below the $1 mark in many areas of the country. Some retailers in eastern Ontario are selling gas today for as low as 83.4 cents a litre, according to the website gasbuddy.com. The price rises to around 90 cents per litre in the Toronto region; a price not seen in the country’s largest city for about 20 months. Some stations in Quebec, western Canada and in the Atlantic provinces are also selling a litre of regular gas for below $1, according to the website.
O-frickin-kay! I'm sorely tempted to go back to my gas-guzzler. My current ride is a gutless wonder.
