Apparently Jackson's death killed several major websites for a short time as well.

The news of Michael Jackson's death prompted a deluge of entertainment websites to slow down last night, with the likes of Twitter posting an apology for the service underperforming due to heavy demand. The popularity of the King of Pop was plain to see when some of the internet's biggest websites ground to a halt.
"We have had to temporarily disable search results from the logged-in homepage of twitter.com. We are working on the underlying problem and will bring back these features as soon as we can," explained the Twitter blog during the midst of confusion over Michael Jackson's death.
Broken by TMZ
Computerweekly.com is reporting that performance index firm Keynote Systems also noted a slowdown in website response times with ABC, AOL, CBS, CNN Money, MSNBC, NBC, SF Chronicle and Yahoo News all taking much longer to load – up to nine seconds. The death of Michael Jackson at the age of 50 was broken on TMZ.com, a popular rumour and celebrity gossip site. Due to the sheer volume of web traffic TMZ experienced, it too was temporarily taken down.

I feel bad for his family...I have never been a fan of his music but I heard lots of Jackson 5 when I was a kid. I think the media is going overboard on this one, he hadn't put out a hit album in years....

And then there was that huge concert deal.....the stress of physically prepping for it is what most likely caused the cardiac failure.

Call me a skeptic but DNA to prove that he actually died.............. he hasn't been in the news for a very long time and with the upcoming 50 concert date tour in London @ O2 Theatre, what better way of getting front page exposure big time than staging your own death. I am a fan of his music, but not him and his antics and some of the things he has done in the past makes me really wonder.......it isn't out of his realm of the wierd and unexplained....

1. I hope not.
2. I don't think that's what it is.
3. Good point though! That is a possibility...
4. After 3 days, if he hasn't resurrected, then I will be sure he's dead.

Elvis and Biggie, and Tupac all sell more records.. and somehow release more unheard of music after their deaths... could just be he wants to make more money.

Or perhaps like hotblack desiato he is just going to be dead for a year for tax reasons.

So, are we officially labelling this a conspiracy. Did Jacko go into hiding with Elvis?
