Why would Harper open up his big mouth ?
"We find the behaviour of the (Iranian) regime unacceptable in so many ways that I cannot even begin to name them," Prime Minister Stephen Harper told the House Commons last week as Iran's government responded with violence to demonstrators in Tehran.

Canada and the U.S. have about as much business regarding the internal affairs of Iran as Iran has business regarding our internal affairs.

With the present controversy over the NDP 1999 election campaign chicanery, it would seem to me that Canadians need to worry about our own "democracy" rather than Iran's.

"Our concepts of a free society are as foreign to the Arabs (and the rest of the non-Anglo-Saxon world) as Arabic and Chinese are to us. If Allah wills, they might evolve their own version of a more or less free society, but it will not be like ours. And they darn sure are not going to accept anything imposed on them at the point of a gun by "infidels." --Charley Reese--

Stephen Harper was barely elected to run Canada and Barrack Obama was elected to run the U.S., neither has any moral authority to tell others about how to run an election.

"Mindin' other people's business seems to be high-toned
I got all that I can do just to mind my own
Why don't you mind your own business
(Mind your own business)
If you mind your own business, you'll stay busy all the time." --Hank Williams--
