I was rading this article with interest until this line threw me as completely wrong.
"There have been many studies on the toxicity of tobacco smoke. It is known that tobacco smoke contains 4000 chemicals of which 60 are classed as carcinogens. Cannabis in contrast has not been so well studied. It is less combustible than tobacco and is often mixed with tobacco in use"
I call bullshit. Maybe often might mean the researchers know a guy thats knows a guys dog that does this. Has anyone on here ever heard of people doing that?

Back in the day I smoked my share of drugs.....never mixed marijuana with tobacco, its quite combustible all by itself. I have a feeling they are referring to hashish, that you had to mix with tobacco, no way around it if you wanted it in a joint. Gawd its been 15 years since my last reefer Sad

That's pretty much the only way they smoke it in Europe. According to a friend of mine that backpacked there.

The important words are "may" and "possibility", which , to me, means nothing has been found to be true!
Drinking too much milk "may" lead to the possibility of catching cancer, or in DeanK's case, having a neurological configuration leading to possibly having a monster cat in his house!

I too, have never heard of mixing pot with tobacco....hash and hash oil yes, but not pot.

hey... I life long smoker who has burnt out their smell ability might think it covers it up.. but it does not.

Also.. of note.. NATURAL tobbacco smells exactly like pot.

not alot different then most grasses being burnt, a little bit better but not really noticable if you dont realize there is a difference

...ok so covering might not have been the best word to use....how about mask? Or perhaps confuse... the smell....especially if your using something with a wacky smell to start out with....(like a "Prime Time" flavored cigar...)

Back in my day if you got a couple of friends together with a little bit of everything you would smear a cigarette paper with hash oil, crumble a small amount of hash in the paper, then marijuana to make it combustible, no tobacco in sight anywhere.Ahhhh those were the days.......
