The GIO 500w Electric bicycle scooter is the ultimate alternative for commuters that need a quick way to travel but do not want the expense of operating vehicle or motorcycle.
Top quality 500w brushless electric engine is standard. Engine is powered by 4 large high power batteries that will last for over 3 years or around 500 recharge times. Scooter can also travel up to 60kms on a single charge.

500w E-Scooter is classified as an electric bicycle (since pedals can be used) however keep in mind that pedals do not need to be installed. You do not have to register it and can also operate w/o any driver license.

A great tool for commuters or those working on large campuses.

Not and maintain it for any length of time.

Plus...any bike (Electric or gas) that goes faster than 35kmh is then required to be registered/licensed and you have to follow the same rules as a moped.

Actually I can. If I'm biking to work with a 20 km/h tailwind, between traffic lights my speed is usually 35km/h. Depending on the grade, I can get up to 50 km/h ( Jubilee Underpass), and I ride a mtn bike.

Now, if I have a 20 km/h headwind, then I'm only going 20-24 km/h and the moped will have me beat.

Plus...most people who ride bicycles...would probably not enjoy one of these so much.

I have a nice mountain bike myself...and will not replace it with one of these. I did buy one for my wife though, as her knees are fried, and she can't pedal so much.

She's petrified of motorcycles...but absolutely LOVES this thing...cause it's not so fast you get nervous...but fast enough you're not wishing you had walked.

Hey guys...the red one sold...so I'm offering a blue one now.

There's a yellow/orange one available too...but will be another 3 weeks before it's delivered.

Just another note though...I've seen these on the WalMart website now too for $999...still a deal for only $700.
