apparently Ontario has been trying to get electronic Health records going for several years and have spent crazy amounts of money trying to do so, with little results. Some of the bigger issues being 5 million worth of untendered contracts, for seemingly little results... a real good one being a significant amount of this money being spent for "communication expertise" LOL .. you know.. another word for advertising...

anyway... considering that Manitoba alone has more then 3 companies creating medical software, one of which has all the capabilities the eHealth is looking for, easily works across multiple computers, multiple networks and interfaces with multiple integrated health systems.. I am left wondering just how stupid some of these politicians are that they can not do something simplistic as setting this up.

I'll bet you aren't surprised at their stupidity.

true enough I guess .. 2 billion for a gun system that should have cost less then 100K.. so an eHealth system.. hmm... 19 billion when all is said and done.
