yeah sure he is a criminal no doubt, but considering how many other VIOLENT rapist, murder, muggers and drug dealer get out on parole and never get sent back, we send back this guy????

I think any of those you've mentioned would be sent back to prison if they did the same things no?

This guy is a con and is still at it, it appears. He was even doing shet in jail I believe. Jail's a good place for him imo.

not really no, check how many parole violations there are when some peeps finally end up before a judge, usually very little happens to them

Swindeling a credit union and robbing banks and a few other charges may have something to do with it no .

oh no doubt about that. I am still wondering how the heck he could have ever been "a fundraising manager and consultant for the Mennonite Central Committee of Manitoba."

like I understand about giving people a secod chance and such, but you would think that particular position would require having you be bondable..

The Mennonite community are a very forgiving bunch, so it doesn't strike me that they gave him a chance. As far as his job with MCC, he probably didn't have much access to cash, and with proper controls, I would bet that their exposure was limited.

And a lot of places don't go for individual bonding of employees anymore, most have a blanket "Employee Dishonesty" policy, which generally has a high deductible, so you're forced to putting in tight controls.
