My son is on the sound team, but he is looking like a muslim terrorist, so he got a skating part, probably as a goon squad member! Long very dark bushy hair, beard , moustache- I told him to try and get some words, because they pay extra for words!

I phoned my son and left him a message. Is there any local phone number from that article- They need 500 extras for the stands- It should be easy to get in- I don't think there are 500 people in Selkirk that can read, and fewer would have a license to drive!

We are very excited to be part of this two part
mini series for CBC! Written by his son Tim!
We are looking for people of all
ages, shapes, sizes and
ethnic backgrounds!
And of course, hockey fans!

This is a big one folks so make sure you

Filming will take place
May 20th to July 16th 2009.
If you live in Brandon or Selkirk and would like
to help fill the seats at your local arena,
please call the production hotline at
784-8173.
They are looking for volunteers to help re-create AHL and NHL scenes.
Lots of great prizes will be given out!
Selkirk dates: Sundays, May 24th and 31st.
Brandon date: June 14th, 2009

The producers of a miniseries about the life of hockey icon Don Cherry, being filmed in Manitoba, are calling for extras to pose as fans at hockey games.

The series, titled Keep Your Head Up Kid: The Don Cherry Story, is being shot on location in Winnipeg, Brandon, and Selkirk over the next few weeks, said Terry Gould, one of the producers.
