It is interesting to see all the Western Based Countries walk out of the big meeting on Racism, when Iran's President makes a neutral speech about Israle! lol
Canada's Harper is the only one that refused to sign off on the last meeting , condemning Israel as a racist country, and the only one that refused to attend this meeting.
I applaud Harper for knowing exactly what was going to happen, with Ahmedijahn running for re-election right now!

yeah Canada opted out a long time ago.. it was only recently that the USA opted out.. and as soon as the USA did a bunch of other coutries did too.

There are 72 comments, and it is interesting to see that there is no clear pro or con attitude regarding the U.N. and its effectiveness. Lots of controversy, which is exactly what I would expect.
Not enough democratic countries!
Thank goodness we have the U.S. trying to make every country a democracy! Where would we be without their positive influence? Looks like they have Cuba convinced!

oh and did anyone actually listen to the Iranian guys comments?

sorry but I fail to understand the controversy behind this specific set of comments.

Facts are.
1) Israel did not exist as a country before the second world war.
2) The world, forced the creation of one country seperated into two states on the area
3) Israel grew tired of the crap that was going on ( do to the world not being able to govern properly) and said F this sh1t... we are taking control

Would 3 still have happened had the world not intervened? Yup most likely, it probably would have just taken longer. But the "facts" presented in Iranian Nutjobs speech are not that inaccurate nor are they that racist...

They weren't exactly out of it... Some Serb MIG's flew right by here, when everything started, back in about 1992. My Dad's cousin was the Yugoslavian Navy's Admiral and Chief in command. He was given orders to go up the Adriatic and bombard and seize Koper. He didn't, he deserted, he didn't want to kill his own people. Brave man.
