I'd actually like to see Selanne retire after another long playoff run, but I don't think it's in the cards for the Ducks.

Great game last night. Too bad they are playing each other in the 1st round. Both looked really solid. Great defensive play and very good goaltending. IMO the highest quality hockey so far in the playoffs. Looked more like a conference final than first round. But the Sharks are a really good team and the Ducks have been one of the best in the NHL during the past month so I guess it should be expected.

I did predict an upset!
As an aging Canadian I find it extremely difficult to stay awake long enough to watch the entire game from the pacific coast. Sigh...

Ummm, predicted the upset. Never saw much of this series but I look forward to Anaheim and Detroit in the next series.

I stand corrected.....I guess the Sharks can't get anywhere in the playoffs with the Thorton playoff choke.
Good luck to the Ducks in the second round....hopefully the Wings put up a good fight this time.
