How much energy to all the computers, monitors, speakers... etc.. everything attached to the internet or part of the internet... use? Ignoring the amount used simply in the production of everything and just focusing on the actual energy used by all the internets parts a pieces... How much? And would shutting down the internet and all the worlds computers be enough to set us back to 1990 levels and meet the Koyoto accord? AND even if it was not enough... who would know it was not enough?

Including the gas costs for the transportation of the network admins and web developers that keep the internet going?

mind you with less porn available... all those network admins and web developers might actually have girlfriends and wives.. which would drastically increase the population of the world..
