I'm sure if online businesses really made money...everyone would be sitting at home creating them.

But are there really any that do work? Or that people should avoid?

In browsing sites, I'm inundated with advertising for "google ad-words" and "make thousands per month" ads. Do they work? Do they make money for anyone but Google?

I'd suppose it's the latest "get rich quick" scheme, like Amway was in the 70's/80's and phone services were in the 80's/90's. Anyone have any luck with any of them?

there is (was) a guy in Winnipeg who had purchased a bunch of common names for websites in the early days and just redirected them all to porn websites. click through traffic and ads were generating the dude 11K tax free per month... until the guy got into the freep for it.... Imore then imagine Revenue Canada was not happy about the 11K tax free.

The Winnipeg site hasn't been uploaded yet. I'm waiting for the kids from the organization to get me some information.

Incidentally, if any of you have any boys ages 12-20 who might be interested in joining, the local chapter of DeMolay is looking for new members. I'm an advisor and can provide information about joining.

Google ad words must generate some revenue for web sites. I see Marginalized Action Dinosaur bitching about them screwing him around all the time, so there must be some money involved. :-)

I know a guy with a poker referral web site ( http://www.pokerreviewusa.com/ ) who makes a few bucks too, without a great deal of on-going work. It comes and goes.
